Quattordio Closes the Year With a Record: 12,000 MT of CTC Produced and Sold

Décembre 29, 2025

The Quattordio facility in northern Italy closed the year with a milestone that reflects both steady progress and long-term ambition: 12,000 metric tons of CTC produced and sold, the highest total in the site’s history.

The record was reached not through a single breakthrough moment, but through months of incremental gains, disciplined execution, and the daily efforts of teams across the operation. For those who work inside the plant, the achievement represents a validation of work that is often demanding, technical, and largely unseen.

“This is a great achievement for our entire team and for each individual who contributed to it,” said Vito Cicala, Plant Manager at Quattordio. “When we celebrated 11,000 in 2023, we left with the understanding that it was not the end of the story. This year, we proved that we were capable of more.”

The path to the record was shaped by familiar industrial realities—tight schedules, operational complexity, and the pressure that comes with raising expectations. According to Cicala, what carried the team forward was not the absence of difficulty, but the way those challenges were met.

“The days that brought us closer to this result were often difficult,” he said. “But they were all driven by a shared belief that this could be the right year to take an important step in our growth.”

While production milestones can be measured in numbers, leaders at Essex Solutions point to culture as the underlying driver of performance at Quattordio. The site’s results reflect a workforce that blends technical expertise with consistency, method, and a willingness to solve problems as they arise.

That foundation is what gives the company confidence in the facility’s future. Klaus Borstner, President of Essex Solutions Europe, emphasized both gratitude and expectation when reflecting on the achievement.

“The performance at Quattordio shows what is possible when experience, discipline, and commitment come together,” Borstner said. “The team there has set a strong standard—not only in results, but in how they approach their work. We see significant opportunity ahead, and we deeply appreciate the effort and professionalism that continue to come from this site.”

For now, the focus remains on recognizing what has been accomplished. The record makes 2025 a defining year in the history of the Quattordio facility, and a moment for colleagues to pause and acknowledge the collective effort behind it.

As Cicala put it in closing his message to the team: “Much remains to be done, and higher challenges will always bring new risks and uncertainties. What matters is that we continue to face them with the same passion, positivity, and analytical rigor that brought us here.”
